Governor Greg Abbott appointed Rick Siewert, D.O. to the Texas Medical Board (TMB) District Three Review Committee for a term set to expire on January 15, 2030.
Rick Siewert, D.O. of Amarillo, is a self-employed physician with 43 years of experience in rural family practice and emergency room medicine. He is a member of the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association, an aviation medical examiner with the Federal Aviation Administration, and a medical examiner with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration – Department of Transportation. Siewert received an Associate of Science in Pre-Medical from Amarillo College, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston, and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine.
